1994-1998 Bachelor of Arts Degree – major in History and English
1999-2000 Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours - this degree was conferred by the University of Waikato as part of their graduate school programme
During my years at Waikato University I was very active in student affairs, and I enjoyed a very good relationship with all my colleagues and professors. I was student representative on the History subject committee, and I was employed by the History faculty as their research assistant.
During my graduate year I was chosen by the Art History professor to curate the Shanghai Museum of Art and History’s exhibition. This was a six-month contract where I gained an extensive knowledge of Chinese art and history. I took tour groups around the exhibition and explained the artifacts to them. I was also contracted as a special curator for corporate tours.
At Seokang College I
am responsible for teaching Freshman and Sophomore students. These students
are either enrolled in the Tourism or Interpretation Department of Seokang
College, or are enrolled in other non-english major departments. Students
within the Tourism or Interpretation Department major in English. Therefore,
their ability to understand and comprehend is higher than other students
at the college. Their classes are split into two veins - English conversation,
and English grammar. For of these classes I was responsible for selecting
all appropriate texts and resources. All lessons were planned by myself,
and tailored to their particular requirements and comprehension level. Extension
lessons were provided in every lesson for those students that had a higher
ability than their classmates.
Classes for non-English

used. However, all teaching activities and strategies were designed by myself.
