PLEASE READ: Looking for all you 'Lovely English Lassies' The 81st Fighter Wing Association invites you lovely English girls, who fell in love with Yanks in blue uniforms during the past fifty years, to share your stories with us. Tell us where you were born and grew up. How you became acquainted with your Yank and a short bit about your life since. Did you suffer cultural shock when you came to America? Tell about your visits back home to England since. Share your funny little stories of how you and your Yank adjusted to marriage within the two cultures. We would greatly appreciate short, pithy tales of marriage to an American serviceman. Please make them humorous as well as heart felt. We will maintain your anonymity if you wish. You story will be listed on a Linn Barringer's (We will also place them on this site if you email Maureen & Jim as well) web site so others may enjoy, empathize, sympathize, smile, grimace, cry or whatever.
