Hey Alumni of Tarkio College Children of Gospel Choir/Black Student Alliance:
On June 18, 2004 the former Dean Mel Rogers of Tarkio College will be honored at a special Awards Banquet. Dean Rogers is responsible for molding so many of us into the adults we have become. One of his favorite sayings was "If you can make four years of Tarkio, you can make it anywhere in life." So on this day....let's show our support for Dean Mel Rogers by being present to see him receive the Outstanding Faculty Award and to just show our appreciation and to say thank you for his guidance and assistance in helping us develop intellectually and socially.
On familiar grounds of where it all began. Alumni Weekend June 18 - 20, 2004 This will be a weekend filled with fun and memories! For golfers, plan to play in the tournament (lunch included) and for you singers, plan to join Dr. Doughty one more time. Even if you never sang in a Doughty Choir, you are welcome to join in and make good TC music one more time.

The Association is constantly updating the information on the website, so please keep checking. Remember, an Alumni is anyone who attended Tarkio College for at least one semester.
Please make your reservations early, a large crowd is expected. If you cannot attend that weekend, we would still like to hear from you! The Association also encourages you to stay at the Days Inn in Shenandoh. To get the best discount, please make advanced reservations by using this number: 1-800-268-2195 and give them the Associations number 00021895. This is a newly remodeled motel and is the nicest one in the area. Make your reservations now to avoid the rush. Other motels in the area are listed on the website, and it pays to plan ahead.
Marla Tollett-Ross promises this is an event you don't want to miss. She is a Tarkio College Alumni Board Member. So support her efforts by showing up and saying Hello to old and new friends. Plus get to meet with Alumni to see pictures of children, grandchildren, pets, etc. etc. etc. After the award ceremony and banquet we will crash Marla's room and reminise about the Tarkio College days! You may leave a message here in our Guest Book saying that you are coming or you can email Marla personally.
Our plans are to gather Friday, June 18, 2004 in Kansas City for a day and evening on the town. Then move on to Tarkio on Saturday morning to attend the banquet and spend the night in Shenandoh.
