What is the difference between a Personal Chef and a Private Chef?
A Private Chef is employed by one individual or family full-time, and is often "living in" and preparing up to 3 meals a day for the family.
A
Personal Chef serves several clients, usually one per day, and provides multiple meals that are custom designed for each client's particular requests and requirements.

Do you cook in my kitchen?
Yes, I prepare your meals in the safety of your own home. On the cook-date, I bring the fresh ingredients for your meals, along with my own pots, pans and utensils, and prepare the entrees on site.  At the end of the day, I leave your kitchen clean, your house full of the wonderful aromas of my day at your home,  and your freezer full of delicious home-cooked quality food.

How long will you be here?
I will be cooking several different entrees and side dishes from scratch, so it will take several hours.  Arrangements will be made to work with your schedule.

Do I heat the food that you have prepared for me?
Yes.  Any entrees that have been stored and packaged for you in your freezer should be defrosted in the refrigerator overnight and then heated to be enjoyed at the peak of their flavor.  I leave specific handling and heating instructions for each of the entrees and side dishes that I have prepared for you.

This sounds great, but can I afford to have a Personal Chef?
The real question is, can you afford to NOT have a Personal Chef?  If you take into consideration the cost of groceries, your time to plan meals, shopping, cooking, and cleaning up, you will find the pricing very affordable.

Look at it this way: Add up the cost of all the groceries and take-out that you bought during the last year that you prepared or consumed.  Now, add in the cost of all the groceries you bought and intended to cook, but never did, and had to throw away.  Lastly, add in your time for shopping, cooking and cleaning up.  If you are like most households, chances are that my services will cost you far less than the time and money you spent during the last year for groceries and take-out to feed your family.

Most importantly, I am essentially giving you back several hours of your time each month.  How much is
your time worth to you and your family?
