Mohib and his family still await a decision re the reinstatement of their temporary protection visa ,in the meantime he is unable to work to support his family who are wholly dependent on the Circle of Friends Support Fund.

Tasmanians For Refugees - Launceston members commenced a honk for freedom action to draw attention to the Launceston Community's wish that the refugee family who had been removed from them be returned.
The first "Honk for Freedom" was on Sunday December 22 2002 at 5pm.
Organisers vowed to continue their action before and after work,8am and 5pm near Mortys Food Hall ,Wellington Street.
Meanwhile Paul and Phil are co-ordinating as part of their work at Anglicare a Circle of Friends,who will provide practical and physical help for the family.

The Christmas - New Year Honk for Freedom
did have some effect.
Government Senators and DIMIA bureaucrats
are worried for their reputations.
They hoped to take the heat out of this case by allowing the return of Mrs Sarwari to the Launceston Community.
But the campaign continues to return Mohib to us.
