This is my page on Bell's Palsy.
In
1986, I was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas.
I
was in a generator class. We were outside
and
the wind was blowing and it was very cold.
We
had wanted to put the flaps down on over
our
ears but the Sargeant said no.
We
all had to or none could!
Had
to be uniform.
After
the class we went back to the ofice
and
I thought I was getting an
earache.
I was having pain beneath
my
ear. It hurt pretty bad.
I
have never felt a pain like that!
I
had a child so I know the pain of childrith!
There
was no relief for it at all!
I
laid on the couch when I got home
and
barely moved! The next morning I got up
and
it didn't hurt as bad. I was having breakfast
with
my 2 year old son. We were
getting
ready to go to a company picnic.
I
was winking at him. The only problem
was
before this day, I could wink with both
eyes.
This morning only 1 eye was winking.
This
was very weird because I had a
great
wink!!! ROFL
I
went to the bathroom and looked
in
the mirror and my face looked
strange
to me, but I couldn't figure out why.
