The pool space is highlighted by the exposed wood deck ceiling. Besides its natural beauty, the wood will not corrode (unlike metal systems) from the constant exposure to the chlorine filled, moist atmosphere created by the pool. Both clerestory glass block openings and the indirect lighting help give the space a natural and safe environment without producing high glare at the water's surface. An added feature of this space is the group of sliding glass doors that open out to the sun deck.
