Someone Stole Our Joy Today

Someone stole our joy today
and left a lot of pain
They took away the sunshine
and left a world of rain.

The hope that filled our world
Just crumbled into dust.
Now we must face a broken heart
In what we used to trust.

The warmest smile we ever knew
Lit up that little face.
How can we go on living
In this cold and lonely place.

And now he is with Jesus
Our angel is up above.
He left us all so suddenly
And took with him our love.

The only hope there is today
Is one day we will be.
Together in that glorious place
For all eternity.
