Of Adrian, Mich., formerly of Jackson, went Home to his Lord as a result of a traffic accident on December 10, 1997, aged 28 years. Surviving are his wife, Christy, his parents, Edward and Nancy G., Charles and Sharon M.; sisters, Penny (Jeff) C., Tammy (Joel) B., Bethany and Stacey G.; stepbrothers and sister, Charles Cory, Andrew and Beth M.; grandparents Ocie S. Lyle and Charlotte W.; nieces and nephews, Haley B. Ryan C. Kaitlyn P. and Jaden P. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Paul was a very energetic Christian who spent his life serving his church, family and others. He attended the Adrian Church of the Nazarene, was a guaduate of Mennonite College of Nursing and employed as Directory of the Adrian Branch of Great Lakes Home Health Care. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and served his country in the Persian Gulf. Services were at the Horne-Vinson-Watson Chapel, Interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens.

The Compassionate Friends is an international organization, a non-profit, non-sectarian, self-help, mutual assistance/support-group, organization. Providing information, resources, friendship, support, understanding and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings. Helping to maintain their mental health through their grief and sorrow of the mourning process, to the resolution of their loss and death of their loved one.
