| SAT PREP How can we use Emotinoal Quotient and Multiple Intelligences in a class for AT Preparation. Limitations or Boundaries 5 meetings, meeting times 6 to 9 pm Description of students. Some students did poorly in both Some students did well in both but want to do better Some students expect the teacher to Some students expect that the course is all they need to do to prepare for the SAT... no independent, outside-the-class work is necessary -- after all, "I paid for this course, so I expect to improve. Opening "Pep talk" 1. watch the video on CD 2. put up the words on your refrigerator, in the bathroom, in your car, in your wallet or purse and watch the words on the wall in the classroom. 3. practice, laugh, make it absurd. Find out your learning style and make sure you receive the instructions in that style from the teacher. There are 7 styles and you can respond to at least two of the teaching styles. Questions?
