Today's subject is Inuyasha fanfictions. Namely the ones that say along the lines of "Oh yeah, y'know, Kagome should become a hanyou so she and Inuyasha can live together forever."
Ahem. If said Kagome were to become a hanyou and live with Inuyasha in the feudal era, then 500 years later when Kagome is born, she wouldn't be the same Kagome. Her soul would still be in a body, thus stating she would not be born with the Shikon Jewel, not born with Kikyo's soul, thus never being dragged back into the feudal era in the first place, never meeting Inuyasha, never splitting the non-existent Shikon no Tama... see where I'm heading with this?
