Case Summary of Teesh Bedi ( IRCH Reg. No. 59948 )High Grade Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma ( Lymphoblastic T-cell )
This concerns a 38 year old Indian male, non hypertensive, non-diabetic,
married with 2 kids. He presented with complains of dry cough, dyspnoea
(which was more on lying down) and facial edema in July 2000. |

On investigations he was diagnosed as a case of High Grade Non-Hodgkin's
Lymphoma (Lymphoblastic T-cell) with soft tissue mass in anterior and
middle mediastinum. Cell expression was positive for CD3, CD43, TDt and
negative for CD70 and CK. He was treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy from 12.12.2000 to 6.12.2001.
After 1 month of completion of treatment he has presented with recurrence of disease. For this he may require high dose chemotherapy and stem cell transplant which would cost about 4 lakhs (400 thousand INR). |
