SYNOPSIS

The spectacular mountains around Park City, Utah, served as the backdrop (some might say the star) of this outdoor adventure series. Reese was the fatherly leader of the Steep Mountain Rescue Group, responsible for plucking foolhardy daredevils off the sheer cliffs of the unforgiving peaks. His team consisted of seasoned helicopter pilot and old friend (from 'Nam) Farley; handsome Kyle, who was tormented by the recent death of his fiancée; even more handsome Lance, a suave self-promoter hoping to break into show business; Andie, a lively, ambitious local girl; and Sarah, a runaway heiress looking for adventure. Bones (Sarah's kid brother) and Skeeter were two teenage schemers who provided comic relief, and Callie was a cunning developer determined to ruin the pristine wilderness.

Besides the daring rescues (always just as the rope was about to break), team members agonized about their lives and engaged in quite a bit of romantic interplay.
