Ah Chu fell in love Kiu Fung, upon overhearing his real identity being exposed at the Beggar Forum. Kiu Fung was much like Ah Chu, who grew up as an orphan without knowing his real identity. Kiu Fung's world fell apart when he discovered that he was of Kithan origin and not Han. Having discovered his identity Kiu Fung immediately wanted to commit suicide because he now realized that he was alone in the world and have killed many people of his own origin. Ah Chu with her kindness, was able to pick up pieces of Kiu Fung's life and prevented him from taking his own life by giving him a reason to live. Together Kiu Fung and Ah Chu set out to prove Kiu Fung's innocence.

Ah Chu had always thought that her surname was "Yin", which was her mother’s maiden name. As fate would have it she would later discover that her surname was "Din", and that Din Jing Sit was her farther and Yin Sing Juk was her mother. Ah Chu also discovered that she had a younger sister Ah Chi. However circumstances prevented Ah Chu from revealing her identity to her parents so that they could be a happy family together. This was most painful for Ah Chu who had longed to find who her real parents are in order to prove that she is not alone in the world. In her last few days Ah Chu attempted to teach Ah Chi good values, but her efforts were wasted. When Siu Fung, mistaken Din Jing Sit, to be the big bad evil killer, Ah Chu stepped in to prevent her farther from being killed, as well as to shield Siu Fung from killing the wrong person. Thus she gave up her life, which once meant little, to protect those she now loved. Before her death Ah Chu made Siu Fung promise to take care of her sister Ah Chi.
