Kiu
Fung is the leader of Coy Bong, and one of the
top two kung fu experts along with Mo Yung Fok.
Kiu Fung is in a sense a perfect gentleman, a
powerful hero, and a commanding speaker. Under
his leadership Coy Bong was regarded as the
number one kung fu school in all of China. Kiu
Fung risked his own life to save the life of
others, including Master Bak, Ah Chu and the
elders of Coy Bong. His ways brought an
allegiance of loyal followers along with those
who envy him deeply like Chin Koon Ching. Misses
Mar wanted to control Kiu Fung for her own
pleasures, and when Kiu Fung refused, she plotted
Kiu Fung's downfall by exposing his real
identity. For many years Kiu Fung thought that he
was of Han origin, only to discover that he might
be of Kithan origin. Kiu Fung was disgraced and
kicked out of Coy Bong. Despite this Kiu Fung did
not take revenge on members of Coy Bong as he
sought only to find the truth. In his attempt to
uncover the truth, his foster parents, master,
along with all those who knew his real identity
were mysteriously killed. Once Kiu Fung uncovered
that he was of Kithan origin, he thought the
world was over. However Ah Chu gave him a reason
to live, and together they sought to uncover the
identity of the person who led to his parents
death. Kiu Fung would later discover that his
real name was "Siu", and not
"Kiu". In the end Siu Fung sacrificed
his own life to prevent a war between Kithan and
Han people.
Siu
Fung was an example of an invincible man, cast
against a sea of fate. He is a master of all
things human and a conqueror of the wild. As fate
would have it he would kill his own lover, and
die to save further bloodshed.
