This is a publicity shot of the boys. (from the left) Rick (Rik Mayall) is the one with the weird, smile-esque sort of look on his face.  Sort of like what would happen if someone hit the Joker in the face with a baseball bat.   Mike (Chris Ryan) is the one who's trying to live up to his surname (TheCoolPerson) by dressing like the shortest member of the MiB. (If J and K used the memory-wiper on these guys, would it affect them?)   The long-haired guy in the cat-burglar suit is Neil (Nigel Planer), who didn't ever dress like that on the show.   The other one, who hasn't ever had a good hair day, is Vyvyan (Adrian Edmondson), who always dressed like that.

(from Demolition)

This is what happens when you let Vyyan run

free.  In this case, he's just headbutted a window

in an attempt to answer the door. Silly punk psycho!

A policeman who looks and dresses like Benito Mussolini, but isn't (played by Alexei Sayle).

This picture was taken from the cover of the blue tape, which has

, , and on it.

The episode it's from is Cash.

Hey, look!  It's Lenny Henry!

And he's playing....Adolf Hitler?

No, that's the mailman!

He is German, though.

(The picture is from Summer Holiday, and it was taken from the cover of the blue tape.)

The mailman is talking to Mike and Neil.

Obviously a production shot from the episode "Nasty."   I mean, it couldn't really be from the episode, because that scene takes place in the early morning, and not in the daytime. What I don't get:  why is this picture on the back of the purple video, which has, "Oil,""Boring," and, "Flood," on it?   Logically, it should be on the pink tape, which contains, "Nasty", as well as "Bambi," and, "Time."

The picture shows (counterclockwise, from left, starting with the guy sitting on the green thing) Rick, a minister (Terry Jones, of Monty Python fame), Vyvyan, Neil, and two gravediggers (Gareth Hale and Norman Pace.  I don't know which guy has which name, because they always show up together.)

This is a picture from the back of the blue video.

Vyvyan is giving Neil the standard lecture about

how you shouldn't nail your plates to the table.

It has something to do with playing Monopoly.....

The episode is Cash.

A picture of Vyvyan from the

beginning of Summer Holiday.

I don't know why he's wearing

such ridiculous pants.

Maybe it's an 80's thing.

I wouldn't know.  I was six

when this first aired....

Vyvyan is saying

something like,

"You'd have to

get up pretty

early in the morning

to catch you out,

Michael!"

This picture came from the  front of

It didn't come from any episode

My guess: it's a publicity

on a pair of sunglasses, by the way.

Jerzei Balowski, the boys' landlord (played by Alexei Sayle).

Originally from Moscow, USSR, Jerzei maintains that he has never actually been to the USSR, and that he in an Englishman called Jeremy.

He is identical to many of his relatives.

This picture was taken from the cover of the purple tape. Any idea where it's from?  It must be from either Demolition or Summer Holiday, because those are the only episodes with Jerzei.

Rick's the one with the annoyed look on his face.

Vyvyan's the one with the red, rooster-styled hair.

Mike's the short one with the hand-shaped hat.
