To sum up the of the week of 9/22/97 - 9/26/97:
RJ made two appearances both in his club, and as his club's DJ. Let's go Labines give this man his own story.
9/30/97 -- RJ's appearance was short but sweet: he showed up (at his club of course) in the middle of a conversation between his niece, Rachel and his partner, Jacara, discussing Hank. He was on long enough to give "props" to his niece for the success of their jazz festival, and to give her a big raise.
9/24/97 -- RJ the "DJ" appeared again for maybe just a bit longer than he did on 9/23/97, it was still not long enough. Not only did I get to see him scowl with jealousy at his big brother and Jacara, he talk to Hank, too.
I was hoping for more of a storyline along the lines of Hank and RJ coming to some understanding as to why they were at the opposite ends of the law. I don't think the Labines have nearly gone into this enough.
I mean come on - OK, so Nora is going through the change of life do we have to see it everyday? I for one, who will be experiencing menopause one day, do not want to watch it on TV.
I am not crazy about triangles, especially between family members, i.e. Blair/Ian/Kelly and now it looks like Hank/Jacara/RJ.
9/23/97 -- RJ is still in town; guess we hadn't seen him lately because he has been so busy filling in as the DJ at his club during the "Jazz Festival". Wow, I was treated to all of what, maybe 2 minutes of RJ. No one can scowl better than RJ.
