Gordon is the senior engine in the Fat Controller's team, and there's no mistaking it! He's the fastest and most powerful engine on Sodor, and he's very proud of that.
His job is to pull the passenger express train, with all those heavy carriages full of people. He's also very proud of this job, and this can lead to him being a bit bossy.
Gordon has a good heart, and he's very kind. He's always willing to forgive the other engines if they play tricks on him, but he likes to remind them that he can play a trick or two himself. But when something serious is happening, he can use his strength to help the other engines out of trouble.
