Poor Mule made it into two episodes and had a miserable time in both of them. Mule was a "worker drone. Good for hauling equipment, digging fossils, that kind of thing." Mule had something of a subservient personality: "I'm working hard. Doing what the men tell me."

White's goons chased Mule from the sewers and into the market area. He was cornered, tasers trained on him. Mule was eventually overpowered (the whole incident caught by Sketchy on camera), and hauled back to base. White tested the Breeding Cult Snake Venom on Mule to see whether all transgenics could survive exposure as Max had. Mule fell sick (unlike Max), but pulled through.

White told Mule that he would be released. He dropped Mule off after telling him that all that he had to do was get past the fence into sector 8 ("municipal vehicles only"). White further informed Mule that he had to "watch out for enemy soldiers, 'cause if they see you, they will try to kill you. They'll be wearing helmets, carrying guns, and they'll have badges that say 'Sector Police.'" Unfortunately lacking in the paranoia of many of his fellow transgenics, Mule, the sweetie, responded "thank you. . . for everything."

Mule set off for the fence. People gapped. The cops showed up and started beating Mule. He started fighting back and flung the police around. This, of course, was captured on camera and served to send the general population into a "trannie" fearing frenzy. The cops started shooting and hit Mule six times before he went down.

Having watched the entire scene in his side-view mirror, White then proceeded to ever so casually drive off.

Mule appeared in Exposure and Hello, Goodbye.
