The first two photos are of Alabama 175's northern terminus, at AL 5 (which continues on to Brent and then US 82). North of this point, AL 5 roughly parallels the Cahaba River, though at a distance, with old sections of the highway looping back and forth over the current two-laned route. Any roads leading off to the east (right) from 5 between the end of 175 and the town of Brent are likely to take you to the river.
