| Pictures from mid-October 2002. Peak week was late this year so attractions such as the Space Needle were not on our agenda: high-altitude view of slightly browning leaves... During the spring and winter, however, the Needle may provide the best take on the mountains without actually braving the traffic in the Great Smokies National Park itself. |
