| US Highway 321 through eastern Tennessee |

| Having driven both the I-75 then US 441 (into the Smokeys) and US 321 then US 411 (leaving) I have to say the latter route is far more pleasurable. Of course, I have not driven the 411 route go to the mountains, so I have not finished my journey with this leg. I have been both ways on 441, though, and it's not as quaint or backroads in nature as the 321/411 route seems to be. |
| In the video captures above, US 321 meets Tenneessee Scenic Highway 73 just east of Maryville. There's a crummy little gas station on the corner where you can take of your basic needs, but I recommend continuing on to Maryville proper for snacks. |
