Saturday 21st of June is the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party here at EGG!
It would have been a while since the last in-house egg event so you can be sure this one will go with a bang! With Wimbledon, Ascot and the summer solstice all occurring on this week, it’s definitely time for some English garden party shenanigans!
We all know that mad dogs and Englishmen come out in the midday sun so now it’s time for you to prove this and really go crackers! Theme wise think: crazy hats, hats like the ladies at ascot , or even make your own hat!, champagne, strawberry’s & cream, cliff richard, and of course the Alice in wonderland mad hatters tea party itself: white rabbits, Mad Hatters, Alice and the Cheshire Cat – whatever you choose be sure to make its MAD!
Helping the party go with a swing we are pleased to welcome Lewis Ryder (Outerspace, Hindsight), Miniminds Dex & FX Set (Bigger Deer Recordings), Mark Fanciulli (Saved Records), and Huw Lloyd (Planet Sabbatical) keeping it on the minimal/tech tip down in the Basement.
Up in the Loft you can hear the more French and US side of house.. Joining us all the way over from Paris we are lucky to have LeoMeo (Paris, Underground FG), and EGG regular Femi B (Peppermint Jam, Positiva Records) plus making an appearance will be Marky B, Scot Mochan, Ali Bee and Gary Lively. Also joining us on the Terrace will be the EGG residents: La Rue & Barber, Marron Bitch, Pagano, Malcolm Duffy, Lady Bianca, La Gosse, and Nils.
