Pete and I have been married  for four years and we've know each other about eight.  We met in a hairdresser's where I worked and Pete was trying to get a job there.  He was outrageous then. " It was love at first sight for me,  but not for him.  We were really close friends for about 12 months and it just evolved that we become lovers.  We decided that we were inseparable and so we decided to tie the knot. " " We got married at a registry office in Liverpool.  It was a really funny occasion.  The registrar couldn't take us seriously.  He kept saying, ' Which one's the bride ? '   " At first when my parents though he was just a gay friend of mine,  they thought he was really sweet.  But they didn't like it when they found out that we were serious."
