						PIEPKE
				A few months ago I started contacting the ‘chic freak divas’ to see if they would have the time and interest in participating in a comic book project about the celebration of make-up and costume. In order to transform their look(s) into illustrations I asked them to write a short story with themselves as main character. The diversity of their looks would give me enough to work with I thought, but they’ve all written such diverse stories that working on this book has been an amazing journey for me and my editor, Raf DD. Poems, lyrics, a fairytale, prose-poetry, interview style … you name it, it’s in it !
