Welcome to the homepage of Hood's Texas Brigade Camp #153 in San Antonio, Texas. We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Hungry Horse Restaruarant, 12333 West Ave. at 7:00pm. Programs are presented concerning our Southern Heritage and the War for Southern Independence.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans consists of men that are descendants of Confederate Soldiers or Sailors . They may be direct or collateral in relation. Our Camp consists of men interested in this era of the history of our country, in their roots, genealogy, preserving the memory of their Confederate ancestors and Southern Heritage, and those that prefer to socialize with men of similar interests.
We are actively recruiting new members. If you are eligible to become a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans we urge you to consider applying to our Camp.
The memory of the Confederate Soldier, as well as the motives for his suffering and sacrifice, are being consciously distorted by some in an attempt to alter history.
