THIS page is dedicated to the American troops participanting in Operation Joint Guardian, the members of Task Force Falcon .
US forces, the bulk of the Multi-National Brigade East entered Kosovo on June 12, 1999 after the Yugoslavian government accepted
the terms and conditions outlined by NATO in the Military Technical Agreement .
New to the operation is Camp Magrath, located near Vitina, joining Camp Bondsteel near Urovesac (Ferizaj) and Camp Monteith
near Gniljane. This chronicle dates from January 2002 through December 2002.

- Visit Task Force Falcon 1999 , Task Force Falcon 2000 , and Task Force Falcon 2001 to investigate what American troops in Kosovo were experiencing as they fulfill their mission to bring security and stability to the region.
- Establish and maintain a secure environment in Kosovo, including public safety and order.
- Monitor, verify and when necessary, enforce compliance with the conditions of the Military Technical Agreement and the UCK Undertaking
- Provide assistance to the
UN Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), including core civil functions until they
are transferred to UNMIK
