Transformers: Armada is the current incarnation of Transformers, in that it is the main line of toys at this time, and that its TV show is the one that is currently airing, which is produced by Aeon, the company that animated Robots in Disguise.  It also has an ongoing comic series produced by Dreamwave, the company responsible for the Transformers G1 and Transformers: The War Within mini-series.

Like its predecessor, RiD, Armada is a separate continuity from the earlier Transformers series.  It introduces a 3rd faction known as the Minicons, who are human-sized robots that can transform into miniature vehicles and link up with their larger counterparts.
