Sight
To my eyes, you cannot see.
Your gaze passes through me
Because I am just a ghost from the past;
A past that we try so hard to forget.
I wonder sometimes if your unseeing eyes
Know what you arn't looking at,
Or if the eyes you can't see me with
Don't care for what they're seeing.
But I know you sometimes see me
Even when your eyes don't want to see.
And sometimes you remeber the past
Even when your mind's eye doesn't want to see.
