A hapless Federation grunt on his way to fight in the One Year War, Shiro Amada finds himself constantly in bad situations. After survivng the gassing of Side 2 in the opening stages of Operation British, Shiro is transferred groundside to help fight the Zeon invaders off the Earth's surface, but winds up tangling with a Zaku High Mobility Prototype in low Earth orbit whilst piloting nothing less than a simple space pod outfitted with a pair of 180mm cannons. everyone's suprise, Shiro destroyed the prototype, but wound up lost in the wreckage of a Federation battleship with the Zeon prototype's pilot, Ayna Sakhalin. Once rescued, Shiro finally made it to Earth, and was assigned to the Far East division, one of the first groups to reciveve some of the Gundam Ground Type mobile suits. Assigned under him are a GM pilot he saved earlier, Terry Sanders Jr, and a hot-headed Master Sergeant by the name of Karen Joshua. Poor Shiro manages to subsequently begin a long course of pain, first getting in a fight with the Zeon Apsaras I and II mobile armors, both piloted by his old "friend" Ayna, losing his Gundam, court-martialed, reduced to the status of leg infantry (when he actually downs a Zaku with a bazooka), then finally sent on a suicide mission to find the Zeon research facility where the new Apsaras III is being designed. Shiro then gets a real can of whoop-ass opened on him by Zeon ace Norris Packard, and finally winds up taking down the monstrous Apsaras III... but at a cost of his life? No facts are known other than Shiro's current status is M.I.A.
