DAVID BOWIE DIAMOND DOGS

This two-dimensional rendition of Bowie was concocted by artist Guy Peellaert circa 1974 for the Diamond Dogs album.  It never really got to see the light of day though, the powers that be preferring something slighly less risqué in the way of canine exhibitionism.  A history, it now forms part of the Rock and Pop Music Collection, a five-year old addition to the Theatre Museum - Britain's Government - sponsosred archive of the live performing arts. - JAMES ROSS /  BLITZ MAGAZINE /  JUNE 1982
