To make it a bit lesser confusing, I've chosen to split the world into two groups: Europe, and non-europe! -And we're starting with the last one!
The World (Except Europe)

"...I've seen a couple of mooses...*smile*...the scariest
was when i was in Canada in Waterton National Park...me and my friend
were trying to spot some grizzly bears...he just like grizzly bears so
much that he was so determined to spot one...geez...anyway there was
this noise behind us and we turned...and this big, giant male moose
was standing there looking at us...we were like 8 feet or 10 feet
away... geez it's huge...reminds me of a small donkey actually...i
mean the size of it...anyway we were scared coz we've no where to run
if it were to charge at us...i mean the pamphlet has all these info on
what to do if u meet a bear or a mountain lion but nothing on moose!!
Finally it went away which was good for us...phew...i was so relief
but a little bit shaken...uuuurgggghhhh...
...The other time we saw some moose is up at Logan canyon...Utah is a great state if u like outdoors...Logan is a great place for outdoor activities too...so sometimes on the way up to the canyon u get to see elks and female mooses...*S*..."

Moose 1:
"Endlich, zu dieser Teil! Es ist eine fernugung zu sagen, das (UPS!! (United Postal Service, or something like that, but who will ever trust anything worth something, to somebody there calls themselves UPS! (Citat: Der Hintermann)), I think I better write
in the Englische Sprache) I've spotted several Elche, the german version of the moose. But they are bit more shy, than the typical moose. Die Elche tries to hide themselves on the bagside of the Germans cars. In Jutlandia (the largest part of Denmark, and
therefore also the most important) I have also spotten a moose, in fact it has hidden itself in my fathers golfhat, but it can't fool me, because it is so big, that the head is sticking out..."

Moose 2:
"Let me see... it was some years ago... I can't remember exactly how many, but it was in the middle of the nineties... NINETEEN nineties! I was in Norway on holiday with my family, when suddenly, as we where driving along a smaller road in the middle of Norway, a maybe two year old moose appeared in the dim forest, which lay on both sides of the road. -Luckily for us, it appeared in the side, where we where driving! -We stopped the car at a for the same opportunity placed resting-place, and started to look at this huge animal (as it wasn't older, it hadn't got any antlers yet). I soon found out, that I had a minor problem... -I've forgotten my glasses, so everything more than 3 meters away appeared blurred! - and the moose was approximately 20-40 meters away. But I soon solved the problem: My fathers binoculars lay in the car... and so I could see the moose much better than the rest of the family ;-)! -Well of course they got to borrow the binoculars too, I'm not that egoistical !:-). And what I saw, was one of the cutest things, I've ever seen - a moose standing, wobbling it's ears to all directions, and looking suspiciously around. SUDDENTLY a huge truck drove by on the road... and then the moose where scared away... we never saw it again" :´-(
Baron von F.
Moose 3+4:
"Oh, oh, OOH!! Have I spotted a huge moose? Or just a small one? Without any doubt can I say, that I'm (or used to be, before I gave it away to backman of the almost secret society mentioned on this homepage (on the danish pages (ed.))) the proud owner of a small moose (very small, b
t nevertheless a moose). So as an earlier visitor on this page has already noted, mooses do realy exist in Denmark, this proud small nation is therefore it's fellow scandinavian countries equal in all respects.
And as a small note I would like to tell, that rumors have it, that Skive Gymnasium & HF resently has got a moose for rector, at least she has the courage of a moose."
Mini Dichmann
Moose 5:
(This is a bit confusing message, but I guess there's a meaning... somewhere!(ed.))
"I've spotted a moose in Rantzausgade...
...It was seen drinking juice in the Juice bazar (Rantzausgade 18).... -Strange... I'll try to get some more informations during the next couple of days... ... Rantzausgade is placed at Nørre Bronx (Nørrebro in Copenhagen (ed.)) and a (moose) co(w)-witness in the case is named Anine Jensen..."
Østerz and Anine Jensen
Moose 6:
AGF might be signing a moose next season. Last time I spotteda moose was in Dublin. It entered the St. Patrick's Day parade
disguised as 2 of the lads from Boyzone. No really it did! Long live Moose Jørgensen of AGF
Olli Jokinen
Moose 7:
...When I was a child, the playground/football-field nearby our apartment (in Bengtsfors (ed.)) was often visited by a female moose and in the spring she would also bring along her calf. I am also in possesion of a strip of film, shot by my uncle, that shows a moose crossing the road just in front of our car (a red Renault 12), as we breaks my uncle leaps out and runs after the moose untill it disappeares in the brushwood.
