In 1941, Otis Oldfield was commissioned by The Colt Press to draw the illustra-tions for the reissue of "McTeague (A Story of San Francisco)" by Frank Norris, originally published in 1899. Following are his twenty-two minimalist illustra-tions, along with a photograph of the book cover. and the Colt Press Logo.
