California and Southwestern art is our specialty, but AV Fine Arts is also an Art History Site, and a Seller of Rare, and/or First Edition Books and Manuscripts. There are informative exhibits of The Society of Six, a history of the California Water-color Society (Rex Brandt, Ben Messick, Phil Paradise, George Post, Millard Sheets, & Milford Zornes) and exhibits of paintings of the California Missions, Cory Gallery Artists, Ellen Burpee Farr, James Merriam, Montyne, Otis Oldfield McTeague Illustrations, Stan Sowinski Watercolors, Takako Yamaguchi, and a six-page Pascal Cucaro exhibit, (the Beatnik era.artist from San Francisco.)
