Here are some Lord of the Rings movie-related happenings you should look out for: .Now- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is out in theaters starring Jim Carrey and Elijah Wood. .Also now- Return of the King is the highest grossing film of 2003, just nearly beating Finding Nemo. The top 150 highest grossing films is available here. .5/14/04- The movie Troy will come out starring Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean. Bloom plays the handsome young Paris. | l WHAT'S NEW 6/27 The Language Page has been started. Links and the Quenya and Sindarin Basic Information are finished. Keep checking for updates. 6/27 The History Page is now finished! The last summary, The War of the Ring, has been completed! 6/16 I have just finished the Gondor, Arnor, and Rohan summary in the History Page. Please fell free to read and enjoy it. One more summary to go and the history page will be finished. After that, I might start working on a Language section, so keep checking for updates. 4/8 Pippin won in the last poll, making him the character poeple would most like to comfort in ROTK. This new poll has a slightly different angle. :P There's also a new link in the links page: Games of Gondor. 3/09 I have renamed the Original Poetry section of the History Page to Writings of Middle-earth. I would love to read your original compositions, so please submitt any poems or fanfictions to me, Nimrodel, if you are interested. Thank you. The Family Trees section has also been updated. Check it out soon! 2/20 I have updated your questions in Ask the Elvenfolk. 2/2 I made a couple new banners on the links page if anyone was looking to link us. ;) We have won another award! We have won the Splendor of Minas Tirith award for best content in the Vanimelda awards! Yay! 1/30 Okay...several new things on the home page. In the last poll, lembas won for the best food in Middle-earth. Check out the new poll and celebrate the fact that ROTK is dominating award shows everywhere. w00t!! And now that I've worked a little for the past couple hours here are the fruits of my labor: Caption page 9 Caption page 10 Manipulated pics page 9 3 new spoofs (bottom of page 1/12 Well, we have good news and we have bad news. The good news is that there is a new caption entry in the Caption Contest and a new (dutch) link on the link page. Yay!! Now the bad news is that due to a shortage of megabites and money, the elevnfolk have decided to discontinue the gallery and remove it from our features. Sorry, everyone. But we'll try to make it up with extra stuff. 1/3 Happy New Year!! There is now a new spoof up in humor: The Lord of the Parodies. Check it out!! It's by one of our fans. 12/21 Alrighty...a bunch of new stuff. .First entry in the Caption Contest. It would be wonderful if we got a lot of contribution. .Now that ROTK has come (w00t!! It's amazing) I've replaced the spoilers in Taters & Tidbits with a huge list of reviews. .In the cast section, you can now get a hold of you favorrite actor as I now have their addresses up. .There is also a new link in the links page (a link in the links page? How suprising!! 12/6 There's another new bit in Taters &Tidbits: The Trilogy's Lost Scenes. Manipulated pics pages have a new easy-access format and there is a new manipulated pics page. Caption Contest winners have been chosen, which means there is a new contest up and running. Also in the humor section, there is a whole new page for funny links with new links up. 12/5 If you've seen the Bakshi cartoon film of LOTR, I pity you. No seriously, every cloud has a silver lining, right? If it wasn't for the Bakshi movie, we wouldn't have this hilarious and witty review, making fun of it. You can find it in Taters & Tidbits. 12/1 Well, I've been having a great time with the TT EE and the ROTK soundtrack. I hope that if you haven't already gotten them, you do soon.
