SECRET YEARS #2: "Reach Out and Touch". Billy Cramer moves into Clark's dorm when Ducky has to leave due to his paralysis. Clark's third roomate, Dave, calls Billy "Clark's Shadow" because Billy appears to follow Clark wherever he goes. Meanwhile, Superboy is investigating the Bermuda triangle. A cruise ship had swallowed up and Superboy was unable to help them.

Back at the University, Billy decides to share Clark's room while Dave switches into Tommy's room, adjacent to Clark's. Later that day, Superboy testifies against Luthor in court. Luthor gets 10 years in the state penitentiary. Luthor swears revenge.



In Clark's physics class, Billy over-hears Steve Powers plotting a scheme to embaress Clark in the lab. He pushes Clark out of the way of 'stink explosion' but gets the stink instead. The following moring, Clark and Billy stop a girl sitting in a runaway wheelchair. She introduces herself as Lori Lemaris. Clark is immediately overtaken by her beauty. They arrange a double date.



Clark has another nightmare, this time, about not being able to save his college roomate Ducky. As usual, his parents (Ma and Pa Kent) are the nemisis of his dream.



Watching a television newscast that evening, Superboy sets out to the Pacific Ocean again. Two more search planes had disappeared and he is unable to find the planes. However, he does find a rip down by the surface. It's glowing and assumes an openning. Going inside, Superboy finds the missing people but to his dismay, they wish to stay. They love the land inside the bermuda triangle!



Going back to his dorm, this gives Superboy an idea: to share his secret identity with Billy Cramer! He rips open his shirt and reveals it to Billy.



Billy is overcome with joy as Superboy takes Billy for a fly. Superboy states, "Believe me pal--I'm really Superboy!"
