Mid-JUNE in a North American garden. These are shots of the

small front garden

1, 2 & 3) Papery pink poppies. They grow to about 4-5' tall and the flowers are about the size of a coffee cup. Small orange poppies, dahlia, euonymous; 4) Dianthus - the perfume from these flowers can be detected 5 houses away

This is a large
back garden
A wall of roses has been established to break up the view and add areas of interest.





1) Potted Crysanthemums on a wrought iron bench 2) Clematis 3) Yellow mini roses 4) Red and white Columbine



5) Maltese Cross - an old cottage type perennial; 6) Viola 7) Mexican Primrose

9) Pansies and Lobelia



10) A Chinese goldfish bowl and Lobelia; 11) Potentilla, violets and chives; 12 & 13) Forget-Me-Not and sedum
