WHAT IS THE CHILL?

Last year at T.L. Hanna High School, there were two student-led Christian organizations, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and First Priority.  This year we have decided to come together (listen to "Come Together" by Third Day - it's an awesome song!) and unite to reach T.L. Hanna for Jesus Christ.  God has been moving in some awesome ways already this past summer.  He is setting in motion a tidal wave, and we are bravely stepping forward to ride the wave and fulfill God's purpose for our school.

Mission Statement:  The Chill exists to rock T.L. Hanna for God's glory by introducing the unsaved to Jesus, nurturing those already in their walk with Him, and helping them find God’s purpose in their lives.

 

Purposes:

  • Plant the seed and water it.
  • Nurture those already in their Christian walk.
  • Make salvation easy to obtain, and easy to understand.
  • Teach God's word relevantly, with things that students can use in their lives daily.
  • Provide ample opportunity for Christians to be like Christ in service and ministry.
  • Let it be exciting, chillin'!

You may also come to the lecture hall on Tuesday Mornings at 7:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall.  The purpose of this meeting is serious prayer about the needs of our personal lives, our school, community, and nation.  This is also where we can help you find a church home and you can find Christian friendship and support.
