| Oh yes, friends, I have now seen the epic theatre experience that is The Faculty. ::the Queen tries not to laugh:: I still can not stand Josh Harnett. ::gaggaggaggag:: ::shudder:: Some observations that I jotted down while watching! Usher's in it! I didn't know that! As is Bebe Newarth, the curly haired dude from That 70s Show, and Salma Hayak. That Delilah really *is* a b*tch. She dumped Stan for trying to concentrate on his grades! Ugh. Watching things like this and Hetty is slightly depressing. Why, oh why, can't I have guys like Casey and Geoff at my school?? WHY???? OK, I knew at the beginning that Stokley and Stan would end up together. Duh. Just the fact that they litterally ran into each other about three times at the beginning of the film. It was a match made in heaven! Can we say 'contrived'?? Hmph. There's a Stan shower scene, but no Casey shower scene. Hmph. What a rip off. Seriously, what *doesn't* Zeke sell? He deals in porn, drugs, fake IDs, condoms... Delilah B*tch. GRRRRRRR...He saves her in the closet, yet when they're running out of the school, he falls and she ditches him. GRRRRRRRR... I love Casey's computer. Hehe... And, god, does Elijah have gorgeous eyes! The Heavenly Blue Blinkers are in full effect in this flick... Did anyone else find the scene with the pen stabbed in the eye of the bio teacher terrifically comical? Or is that just me? Poor, poor Oscar... Is the gun they have a magical gun that miraculously never runs out of bullets?? Poor Casey...has to act as a decoy...but that does mean we get to see some cool pulling himself through the roof of a bus and running across the top action... Elijah Wood does an *amazing* agonized shriek. Just noticed that...Also seen with Frodo at Weathertop... That damn ending. AACK!! Why does he end up with Delilah B*tch!! Oh yeah, honey...you only think he's cool when he saves your sorry a*s...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... The dude who plays Stan (Shawn Hatosy) reminds me of Stan Kircsh, who plays the sidekick on Highlander. ::shrug:: The other standout performance, besides Lij, IMHO, is Clea DuVall as Stokley. Great performance, that... I love how the Perpetually Fighting Couple gets a mention in the credits...Hehehe... And the tweaking scene...oh god, it was all I hoped for and more...Just hearing Elijah's "Showdown!" and "Tweak...tweak" in a high pitched voice was enough to send me over the moon...and the giggling...I loved it when he and Stan high fived...This scene really can't be described...it must be seen... Some memorable quotes! "I don't think a person should run unless they're being chased." Very wise, Casey... "I'm sorry, I was breathing here." Oooh...the sarcasm... "Sniff this!" ::happy shiver:: Badass Elijah... ::happy shiver:: And more Badass Elijah--"Sniff it or he shoots you!" "Sweet Jesus, I'm f*ckin' seeing two of everything!" Heehee... "Guaranteed to jack you up..." Yet *more* Badass Elijah!! WOOT! Sexy!! A definate plus of this movie...There's just something about pale guys with big eyes being bad...See Susie's review of Midsommer Murders... "You wouldn't have liked it here anyway..." This is to Stokley..."Are you...you?" It's the facial expressions that make this a memorable quote...he does this raising his eyebrows thing...kind of like Dom's tongue in right cheek thing...a small manerism that just catches your eye...and the little quirky smile...::le sigh:: God, the more I see of Elijah, the more I like him. Anyone who says he sucks will have to endure my Evil Glare. ::glaring evily:: The Verdict? Elijah: Hot, sexy, and as Susie put it, positively lickable.
