George Hempenstall, born in 1831 Redcross Co. Wicklow Ireland.
Embarked for Australia on the 28th of June 1851 on the ship "Statesman" and arrived at Point Henry in Geelong on the 14th of September 1851.
His parents were Thomas Hempenstall and Mary-Ann Cooper.
