    Why "the Irreverent Reverend?". Well, I do not believe that I am to be revered. That is why I am "irreverent". The "reverend" part, yup, I'm ordained. Kinda makes sense, doesn't it?

          I felt the urge to lead others to what I felt to be a strong message for those who felt that the church was too controlling, powerful, contradicting, oppressive, etc. I became ordained as a minister to help guide those who were feeling the same.

          My Wedding Services

     Many of you have entered searches such as, Where can I get married in Fort Lauderdale?, Fort Lauderdale ministers", Deist minister, non Christian minister, Fort Lauderdale weddings, pastoral counseling, United Deist Church of Fort Lauderdale, outdoor wedding, whitewater wedding, or adventure wedding, and hoped to find someone who would not judge your lifestyle, put you under a microscope, and deny YOUR dream wedding. Your search is over...I will marry any couple legally able to do so in any of the fifty states. I will perform any kind of ceremony possible (except those using the name of the Trinity or Jesus (I am, after all, not a Christian minister)) to affirm the love between two persons of the same gender. I have ministers in other states to vouch for me if the laws of that state deem it necessary. I do not discriminate on any legal basis and will conduct the services in any language or location; underwater (with voice ability), on the side of a mountain, on top of one, under a waterfall, in the middle of a river, in your backyard, a field, a park, on the beach, you name it! (transportation costs outside the South Florida area are extra) I will strive to make sure that your wishes will be carried out. I will write your vows for you, or follow your own written vows. I will aid in other aspects of planning your wedding (I have 25 years of restaurant and catering experience), and as a pastoral counselor and stress reduction professional (www.oocities.org/reverieassociates
), I will help you talk out the tension of the wedding or offer stress reduction therapy.

    I hope to offer those who cannot identify with a specific religious doctrine, the opportunity to create their own wedding, on their own terms. I am overjoyed to be able to offer this service to my companions on this journey we call life.

     Cost. You will find my cafeteria rates to be in line with other ministerial fees. The fee for a ceremony is negotiable based on distance, difficulty, etc. I will gladly consult with you on fees and specifics.

     New Births

I will create a "Celebration of Creation" service to announce the new birth in a unique way. We will discuss different options available such as the "water sharing" ritual of Stranger in a Strange Land, or a modification of the Christian baptism ceremony. I am not authorized to perform circumcisions (and wouldn't want to anyway!).

     Blessing of the Home

I will create a ceremony unique to the new home which you have created and add cross cultural symbols and rituals to make your occasion unique.

          Funerals

     I am here to counsel you through the initial period of grief, making any arrangements (if none have been made), creating a solemn ceremony or raucous celebration. I honor the deep sense of loss you may have but will strive to help you look at the funeral as a joyous celebration of life, not a time of sadness.

     Pastoral Counseling

     I am available at any time of the night for trauma counseling, crisis intervention, a shoulder to cry on, a non judgemental ear, coaching, You name it. When you can't talk to your friends or loved ones; you still have someone. My number is 954-733-3076.

     Stress management

     My company, Reverie Associates, treats the mental causes of physical and emotional problems. I will help you reduce the stress in your life and improve the quality of your life and make those in your life happier to be around you.

     I do not believe that you are incapable of dealing with any problem you may face in life. I do not believe you need to look at yourself as a sinner, failure, a wretched person, a fallen one, backslider. I come from the experiences of someone who has lost loved ones, failed marriages, lost jobs, having to move on short notice, depression, suicidal thoughts. I never, no matter how bad I thought it was, got on my knees and said, "SAVE ME!". I took a long hard look at what was happening and found the tools necessarty to make it through the storm and grow as a person from it. I hope to help you through those problems as I have gone through them before you.
