| Watch Over Me Lord When my eyes open to a brand new day, I wake up with joy and begin to pray, I thank you dear Father, My Lord above, For a new day to live, to learn, to love. Wherever I go, whatever I do, Let each step I take be ordered by you, Whatever I say, whatever I see, Let it be through the Spirit and not by me. If I'm laughing or crying, whatever the case, Let me keep going forward, help me keep up the pace, With your ever-presence, I shall not live in fear, I know goodness and mercy are always near. I thank you dear Father, for getting me through, This day was a blessing, to the glory of you, As I close my eyes, in peace I can rest, For I know God is smiling because I did my best. |

I'm delivered from darkness,Im delivered from shame, Not because of my deserving, but because of his name. For Gods plan is Holy, its faithful and true, And that is the reason I'm witnessing to you.
