section for its defending Big East Basketball Champions.
The Oakland Zoo has been a force for
Pittsburgh basketball since its resurgence in 2001. Since moving into the
Petersen
Events Center in November, 2002, the Zoo has part a large part of the
success of the Panthers 31-0
record in
the building. The gold-clad Zoo occupies 1,500 seats around the Petersen's
hardwood.
