This is my CoCo3P which loves going places with me. :) The 5.6" LCD monitor is not really intagral, and only uses the composite signal. Ugly but quite readable. Not shown is the internal amp & speaker I recently added. Also new, check out the internal analog stick... I got bored. :) Currently has a wire running out the back for flexibility, but will be switchable(L/R) in the future. -Bob |

3.5" floppy drive in place... requires raising the board by about 1/16 inch. unless you have a slimline drive.
The whole thing runs off of a single 12V plug.
Here's how it all looks with the disk controller plugged in. I had to cut a hole for the drive cable. In the future, a second 40 pin edge connector will be added under the motherboard (I've done this before and will post a photo)for an IDE interface.
Here you can see the modification to the case. A hot knife and some jewelers files are the tools I used for this.
I just added a new hole to my CoCo3P cover... what the heck was I thinking?
Power comes in the same location, just a different flavor. The socket is securely hot-melt-glued in amongst the posts that held the original power cord.
Looks very nice in the case and not too high profile. Very comfortable to use.
oh yeah... an internal joystick from a "dead" PC controller. This is sweet,,,
