Rebecca will always tell you what IS! Count on it.
You have to prove yourself with Rebecca, and she doesn't cut a lot of
slack. She also doesn't have any tolerance for what she calls "that
stuffy-lawyer bull." She likes working for "The Practice" because there
isn't much of that around here. She doesn't put up with Eugene when he
gets full of himself.
Things haven't been easy for Rebecca. She has been fending for herself and
looking out for others for most of her life, which gives her the attitude,
but it's survival. She does care -- and she gets things done!
Rebecca is also very smart!
Rebecca doesn't apologize for anything -- unless she is wrong -- which is
seldom. She plans for everything, including Bobby's mouthwash fetish, and
the cups to go with it, and Bobby's fresh suits and shirts for the times
he sleeps in the office.
What Rebecca has learned from being Bobby's "administrative executive"
that she didn't anticipate, is that it is harder to keep track of a lawyer
who keeps a messy desk than it is to deal with a compulsively neat one.
Rebecca also deals with the diplomatic tangles, all of them, including
excuses to creditors for Bobby's late payment habits, the scheduling of
court appearances, and the soothing of clients. "The Practice" could not
open its doors without Rebecca. She has the key to everything.
