Common Name: Red Eared Slider

Scientific Name: Trachemys Scripta

Habitat: Found in lake, pond, river, etc

Size: Adult males are normally 5-8 inches and females RES (Red-Eared Slider) are range from 10-12 inches.

Sexing: Mature males Red Eared Slider have longer front claw then the female. Male tend to be smaller then the female. Male have a longer tail then female Red Eared Slider

Life Span: if raised well Red Eared Slider should grow up to 20 years

Description: Has a strip of red on the side of its head. Love to bask in the sun
