Beige or Tower beige was first seen in the USA in 1960.  This is the beige we see most often.  This color can vary quite a lot, and is the only dominate mutation gene that exists in both homozygous and heterozygous forms. Other lables have been applied to the hetero beige including "Crown of Sunset Beige", Mocha Sunset, Rose Sunset and others - Homo beige have been called Honey Dawn Beige.

Wellman Beige(Champagne Beige)  which are rare and mostly likely recessive.  The Wellman Beige appeared in 1954 and is a recessive trait characterized by dark eyes (brown or black)..
The Sullivan Beige appeared early in the 1960's and is also a recessive trait but is characterized by red eyes.  Lloyd Sullivan obtain a herd of 65 animals containing a male and a female the displayed the distinct coloration.  There was no known pedigree on any of the 65 chins, but a lot of hard work and line breeding these lines to the best animals from various herds.
A simular red eye recessive beige mutation occured about the same time on the
Reynolds ranch.  This type seems to have shorter hair, good beige color but fur is short on density.

Another beige, the
Rzewski Beige, appeared in Poland in 1958 but I know little about other than that it had brown eyes and white belly. It possibily no longer exists.

Two other beige (recessive) mixes have come to my attention
      One known as the
Gold Bar, mixes with white.  It is said to look like a toasted marshmallow.
      The other is
Violet /Beige cross.... Said to have the beige coat with vio undertones and Violet tips on the hair
