Pagan Music
This is a list of some music that I think Pagans/Wiccans would like. You can go to amazon.com and read reviews before deciding to purchase them.
Robert Gass and On the Wings of Song (Ancient Mother) - Must have for any Pagan. Beautiful Goddess music from all over the world, plus some Traditional Wiccan songs.
Libana (Fire Within) - An all womens group who sings various folk and traditional cultural songs from all over the world. Again, this album also has some traditional Wiccan chants and songs.
Libana (A Circle is Cast) - Like the one above, beautiful chants and rounds from many cultures. More traditional Wiccan songs

Shawna Carol (Goddess Chant) - All original songs about the Goddess. Very inspiring, strong vocals.

Emerald Rose (Bending Tradition) - An Irish band who are also Pagan. Fun songs with a great instruments, especially "Pagan Girl" and "Freya Shakti", a song about the Goddess. This album will make you want to dance.

Sharon Knight (Incantation) - Very strong vocals, has a nice "paganish" sound to it. Some rock songs, some folk sounding, and some soft and beautiful. The only thing is she has a bit of a lisp, so that gets annoying.

Loreena Mckennit (The Book of Secrets) - My all time favorite singer! Her music is incredibly beautiful and haunting. A bit of celtic mixed with medieval sounding with a dash of Middle Eastern. Absolutely beautiful!

Loreena Mckennit (The Mask and Mirror) - Another great album by Loreena. Has an unique sound, a mix of celtic and middle eastern. Great for any Pagan to use as background music for meditation and ritual.

Loreena Mckennit (The Visit) - More Celtic sounding.Softer than her other albums, but with great vocals that lift you up and take you to another reality. Anything of hers is a must-have.

Loreena Mckennit (To Drive the Cold Winter Away) - A Christmas album, but without any really Christian lyrics. Very natural sounding, and great for any Pagan who is sick of hearing "Joy to the World" and "Oh Holy Night"

Loreena Mckennit (Elemental) - Traditional Irish songs. Soft instruments like the harp and flute. If you like irish/celtic music, then check this CD out.

Laura Powers (Legends of the Goddess) I have only heard samplings of this CD, but from what I've heard, its beautiful.

Laura Powers (Beyond the Pale) - A follow up on Legends of the Goddess.

Celeste Alayne (Portrait of the Goddess) - Full of original songs dedicated to popular Goddesses. Nice for ritual or meditation on the Goddess

Lisa Thiel
(Lady of the Lake) - Sounds a bit like Native American music, but has nice songs dedicated to the Goddess.

Circle of Women - Chants, rounds and songs all to the Goddess.

Elaine Silver (Faerie Goddess) - I hear she has a really nice voice. Has songs that would appeal to any Pagan.

Coven 13 (Book of Shadows) - Pagan Rock. Has a bit darker feel to it than the others, so I hear.

Velvet Hammer (Come Down) - More Pagan rock. A more well-known Pagan band.

The Weird Sisters (Rite the First Time) - I actually have no idea what kind of music this is, all I know is that its "pagan-like". Could be rock.

Wendy Rule (Zero) - I hear she has a beautiful voice. Very haunting, and has songs with Pagan themes.

Fire and Stone, Pagan Rock (Various Artists) - More Pagan rock.

Medieval Baebes (Undertide) - Really cool music. They sing "Olde English" and french, italian) songs. Some are given a modern twist.
