Kahuku Army Airfield

Kahuhu Point, O'ahu

Kuhuku Point Airfield, August 20th, 1942

Kahuku Army Air Field is located just east of the Turtle Bay Hilton on Oahu's North Shore. In fact, the Hilton's golf course has absorbed most of one of the two runways.  There is a rumor going around possible return to service of this airfield by a private company.  Kahuku had a very short lifespan, it was born during the war in 1942 and died very shotly after. There is very little information about Kahuku AAF, if you know anything about this old airfield please contact Hawaiian Aviation History.
