Epcot doesn't get to hog all the festivities for the new millennium! The Magic Kingdom, Disney-MGM Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom all get their fair share of new rides and attractions to ring in the new century!
The Many Adventures of
Winnie the Pooh
This is a new adventure through the 100 Acre Wood with everyone's
favorite bear! You get to ride in your personal hunny pots and
float through the floody place and bounce along next to Tigger.
It's tons of fun, and in typical Disney fashion you exit into a
Pooh gift shop. There's that Disney synergy again.
SpectroMagic 2000: What
Imagination Can Do
In May 2000, SpectroMagic
will return to the Magic Kingdom with a vengeance. Revamped
floats, new segments and some new effects will adorn this
beautiful pageant of lights and sound.
Sounds Dangerous!
An all new binaural sound
show that stars Drew Carey (ABC's The Drew
Carey Show) has taken the place of the ABC
Sound Studio. This is a very innovative experience, and it's tons
of fun, so be sure to stop by to see this entertaining film!
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Starring Aerosmith
For the first time ever at
Walt Disney World, guests are being turned upside down on a
roller coaster. This new coaster is located on Sunset Blvd near
the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Fantasmic.
It is totally indoors and boasts two loops and an inversion,
going 0 to 60 in 2.6 seconds, and a killer soundtrack from
Aerosmith.
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is a FASTPASS
attraction.
Kali River Rapids
This is one of the only
rides at Walt Disney World that guarantees you'll get wet. Kali
River Rapids is a circular raft rapids ride, and it shoots the
waves through Asia, along the banks of a burning forest and a
tiger habitat.
Kali River Rapids is a FASTPASS
attraction.
And...
there's even a new resort!
Disney's All Star Movies
Resort
Part of the value resorts
group, this hotel is split into different buildings themed to
favorite Disney movies. Located in the All Star complex near
Disney's Animal Kingdom.
